G-HUB Foundation is working towards partnering with district hospitals in the Upper East and Upper West regions of Ghana to convert conventional internal combustion engine-powered tricycle ambulances into solar-powered alternatives. These regions, among the poorest in Ghana, face significant challenges in accessing affordable medical mobility. This initiative aims to drastically reduce the operational costs of running community-funded ambulance services, improving access to healthcare in these marginalized areas.

Solar-Powered Tricycle Ambulances

In collaboration with Cape Coast Technical University and the University of Cape Coast, G-HUB is supporting the development and fabrication of technologies along the cowpea value chain, from planting to processing. This project focuses on improving agricultural efficiency and enhancing local food security, particularly for smallholder farmers.

G-HUB Foundation is working in collaboration with the Engineering Design and Innovation Centre (EDIC) at Cape Coast Technical University, to support the EcoRIDE Project. This initiative is focused on developing affordable, solar-powered transportation solutions for the university campus. The project aims to promote sustainable mobility, lower transportation costs, and reduce carbon emissions, aligning with global efforts toward eco-friendly transportation alternatives.
